⚓ Life on Board, Comfort & Capacity
Does it rock? Will I get seasick?
Absolutely not. Catalia is designed with a catamaran hull (double hull), which provides exceptional stability, far superior to a classic boat. Combined with the dead calm of the canal and the shelter of the Port of Castets et Castillon, you will not feel any rolling motion. You’ll enjoy a soothing stillness, lulled only by the lapping of the water and the cheerful presence of the local wildlife (moorhens, birds, frogs...) that bring this little corner of nature to life.
How many people can stay on board?
Our Tinyboat is configured to comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of 4 adults. The custom interior layout has been optimized to offer high-quality bedding and preserve everyone's personal space.
What are the bathroom facilities like?
A true high-tech bathroom! It is equipped with a designer sink and an incinerating toilet (the ultimate in ecological design, perfectly hygienic and completely odorless). The highlight of the show? The shower with its smart glass partition: completely transparent to enjoy the view of nature, it instantly turns opaque with a simple click on a remote control for total privacy.
Can we stay on board in any season (summer and winter)?
Yes, Catalia was designed to be a true cocoon all year round. Thanks to highly efficient thermal insulation and a reversible air conditioning/heating system, we guarantee a perfectly cooled cabin during hot summer days, as well as cozy and comforting nights in the heart of winter.

Is there running water and electricity?
Yes, but in "Eco-Luxury" mode! Catalia
is not connected to the traditional grid: it operates in total autonomy thanks to its solar roof and high-performance storage batteries. This ensures absolute modern comfort (air conditioning, elegant lighting, pressurized water, charging for your electronic devices) while promoting eco-responsible consumption, in perfect harmony with nature.
🌿 The Eco-Luxury Gesture (Air Conditioning): Our solar system is powerful, but the lack of sunlight at night means the batteries cannot recharge. As air conditioning consumes a lot of energy, we kindly ask you to turn it off as evening falls. Rest assured, the natural coolness of the night on the water and the boat's excellent insulation will take over to ensure a peaceful sleep, all while saving enough power for your morning coffee!
🚢 Regulations & Navigation
Do I need a boat license to rent?
No, no license is required! The Tinyboat is equipped with 100% electric propulsion, and its size (under 9 meters) makes it particularly maneuverable and accessible. Reminder: If you wish to cruise, you can choose our packages with a private skipper (your host), or steer the boat yourself after a thorough initiation. Where can we park?
A completely free public parking lot is available right at the entrance of the Castets et Castillon nautical base. Your vehicle will be parked there in total peace of mind, just a few steps away from the secure dock where Catalia awaits you.
Is the accommodation suitable for children?
Children are welcome under the exclusive responsibility of their parents. Although the space on board is secure, the immediate proximity to the water requires constant vigilance. For this reason, and for comfort purposes, we do not recommend the experience for toddlers.
Do you accept pets?
In order to guarantee impeccable hygiene for all our travelers and to preserve the noble materials that make up the interior, our animal friends are unfortunately not allowed on board.
